Job summary

The ideal candidate will have extensive SE experience, leadership skills, and a track record with SSP-related processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 9 years prior experience; or Graduate Degree with 7 years; in lieu of a degree, 13 years of related experience.
• Active US Secret Security Clearance and eligible for Top Secret Clearance.
• 5+ years direct experience with Underwater Acoustics, Telemetry, Communications, Optics or Radar.
• 5+ years leading and managing processes, projects, tactics, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for Systems Engineering team.
• Lead, direct and review the work of direct report(s).
• Provide input on hiring, firing, promotion, performance and compensation decisions.
• Communicate with stakeholders to explain policies and gain cooperation.
• Mentor less experienced Systems Engineers.
• Perform systems engineering duties for multiple systems.
• Direct experience with SSP SPALT, PAD, Coordination Drawing, and Ordnance Document process.
• Contribute to and present during customer design reviews.
• Contribute to proposal activities.
• Travel up to 25%.
