Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership across requirements, architecture, design, integration, verification, and lifecycle management of complex mission systems. You will guide systems-engineering efforts from stakeholder needs through architecture, design, integration, verification, deployment and operations.

Extensive SE experience and ability to guide critical technical decisions are required.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline; five additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements engineering and establish the technical baseline for complex mission systems.
• Develop and allocate system and functional requirements across hardware, software, facilities, and personnel components.
• Define interfaces and manage system integration across multiple teams and environments.
• Provide Principal-level technical direction for integration of requirements, design, and technology; guide risk management and lifecycle engineering.
