Job summary

Bowhead is seeking a Systems Engineer / VTC Operator to support a customer in Quantico, VA. Responsibilities include system installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance, focusing on voice and video management across UC platforms.

The role requires 5+ years in UC with voice/video know-how, strong VoIP and video conferencing expertise, and doD 8570/8140 compliant or IA certifications. A Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or 10+ years' of practical experience in voice and video management.
• Five (5+) years' experience in unified communications, with a focus on voice and video systems.
• Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols, including SIP, H.323, and MGCP.
• Experience with video conferencing systems, including Cisco TelePresence and Polycom RealPresence.
• Familiarity with unified communications platforms, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Microsoft Skype for Business.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with QoS and QoE management tools, including Cisco QoS and NetIQ.
• CCNP Voice or CCIE Voice certification.
• CCNP Collaboration or CCIE Collaboration certification.
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in Skype for Business.
• CCNA or Cisco CCNP in Routing and Switching.
• DoD 8570 / 8140 compliance or information assurance certification commensurate with objectives.
• Cloud certified.
