Job summary

Bowhead is seeking a Systems Engineer / VTC Operator (Tier III) to support a client at Quantico, VA. Role covers program management, logistics, asset and information assurance, 24x7 enterprise services, and new capability development for unified communications.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years in voice/video management, 5+ years in UC, and DoD 8570/8140 or equivalent certifications. Security clearance required; US citizenship preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years’ practical experience in voice and video management.
5+ years’ unified communications experience with a focus on voice and video systems.
Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols: SIP, H.323, MGCP.
Experience with video conferencing systems (Cisco TelePresence, Polycom RealPresence).
Familiarity with UC platforms (Cisco UCM, Skype for Business).
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
QoS/QoE management tools (Cisco QoS, NetIQ).
CCNP Voice or CCIE Voice certification; CCNP Collaboration or CCIE Collaboration; MCSE in Skype for Business; CCNA/CCNP Routing and Switching.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, operate, maintain system packages for Tactical AV in Hawaii.
Manage VoIP and video networking infrastructure and SIP trunking.
Oversee QoS/QoE for UCaaS and video services.
Ensure security and compliance for UC systems.
