Job summary

The Bowen Group, a GTSC company, seeks a skilled VTC/AV Engineer to design, install, and maintain video teleconferencing and audio-visual systems across a network of technical communications facilities in the Washington, DC metro area, with travel to program locations.

This role requires current Top Secret clearance with SCI-eligibility and SAP-eligibility, and travel of 25-50% to support activities; CTS/CTS-D/CTS-I certifications are desired; salary range is $140k–$160k; full-time with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience designing or supporting VTC/AV systems, including in classified environments.
• Working knowledge of VTC codecs, AV control systems, and related collaboration technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and maintain VTC and AV systems across facility locations.
• Troubleshoot VTC/AV connectivity, performance, and integration issues.
• Coordinate with network and facility teams to ensure systems meet security and interoperability requirements.
• Support scheduling, testing, and live operation of VTC/AV systems for meetings and events.
• Maintain equipment inventories, documentation, and maintenance schedules.
• Support operations center AV integration, including NOC/SOC display systems and 24x7 monitoring environment requirements.
