Job summary

VTG Defense seeks a Senior Test Systems Engineer in Springfield, VA to lead test and evaluation across NSG/ASG and federal agencies. You will guide teams, execute manual and automated tests, and ensure system compliance with requirements.

Requirements include a TS/SCI with Poly, a STEM degree, and 12–18 years in test/integration, with experience in government or DoD environments and DevOps testing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related STEM field, or equivalent experience.
• Senior-level systems integration experience in large complex System of Systems environments.
• 12-18 years of experience in testing and integration.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Experience with traditional, Agile, and DevOps testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Guides mid-level and junior engineers in test and evaluation across NSG/ASG and federal agencies.
• Performs testing of applications and APIs in DevOps pipelines with QA best practices.
• Performs independent integration testing of system software and hardware against requirements.
• Plans and executes manual tests and automated scripts using various languages.
• Supports investigations for defects found during test activities.
