Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer V-PE (Team Manager) to lead senior technical projects in defense and aerospace. You will guide architecture, verification, and risk management while directing multiple IPTs and major subcontractors.

You will report to Engineering and oversee agreements, SOWs, and technical deliverables, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical objectives are met. This hybrid/remote role requires security clearance eligibility and leadership excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical or related engineering discipline.
• Ten or more years of project engineering experience.
• Expertise in system integration, verification planning, and risk-based approaches.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as chief project engineer or senior technical lead for defense and aerospace programs.
• Define and guide system architecture, integration, and verification strategies.
• Oversee engineering execution across IPTs and subcontractors with cost/schedule control.
• Lead baseline definition, configuration management, and major design reviews.
• Interface with executive management and DoD customers for technical interchange meetings.
• Manage technical deliverables, including SOWs and supplier inputs, and support proposals.
• Develop and implement risk management and engineering process improvements.
