Job summary

RTX's Systems Engineering and Test Center in Tucson seeks a Senior Systems Engineer – Responsible Systems Engineer to lead requirements updates and verification across subsystems, coordinating with Systems and Hardware IPTLs and Chief Engineer. This onsite role utilizes strong leadership to ensure rigorous verification and robust design support.

BS in STEM with 5+ years of experience, active TS clearance, and familiarity with DOORS, Cameo, CPDM are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least five years of relevant experience.
• Experience with systems software, firmware, hardware, or test and integration.
• Experience in test planning and verification of system requirements.
• Active Top Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain system and subsystem requirements specifications.
• Lead verification and validation activities across programs.
• Coordinate with Systems and Hardware IPTLs and Chief Engineer on tasks.
• Lead Systems Verification Reviews with key stakeholders.
• Onboard and mentor new team members in core Systems Engineering skills.
• Serve as the program’s go-to Systems Engineer.
