Job summary

AMSURG is seeking a Systems Engineer III to design, engineer and architect complex IT systems. This remote-centric hybrid role supports the IT Infrastructure team and mentors peers.

You will drive critical issue resolution and lead migrations while aligning security and operations with business goals. Ideal candidates bring extensive Windows Server, AD, SCCM, and cloud experience, with a proven ability to translate complex concepts for leadership and sustain 24/7 enterprise readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT systems administration or equivalent, supporting enterprise systems.
• Experience in on-premises Windows environments and cloud migrations.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft products and services and related tech.
• Experience with datacenter infrastructure, virtualization, networks, backup, DR.

Responsibilities

• Lead critical problem resolution for IT infrastructure and escalations.
• Own complex migration and integration projects to milestones.
• Advocate technical changes and improve IT platform resiliency.
• Architect multi-faceted IT solutions for business issues.
• Translate technical recommendations for business leaders.
