Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Sr Engineer in Systems Design & Implementation to lead complex public safety software deployments, bridging high-level design with on-site execution. You’ll ensure seamless integration of wireless infrastructure and evidence management for critical clients.

Responsibilities include implementing end-to-end systems, producing documentation, and training customers. This role requires strong technical leadership and travel to client sites, with CJIS-compliant background

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Public Safety software app system implementation experience.
• Computer hardware sizing, configuration and implementation experience.
• Pass a background check and/or security clearance for customer.
• Basic knowledge of Public Safety operations.
• Fingerprint background check per CJIS policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement body cameras, in-car video systems, digital evidence management systems, and real-time command center software.
• Serve as the technical solution owner of a project.
• Provide system as-built documentation.
• Identify interface requirements and coordinate design with the implementation team.
• Conduct customer-facing technical requirements discovery sessions.
• Build relationships with sales, project managers, and internal engineering/customer teams.
• Provide customer product training (in-person and virtual).
• Survey, design, install and maintain wireless infrastructure at client sites.
