Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sr Engineer - Systems Design & Implementation to lead complex public safety software deployments, including body cameras, in-car video, and real-time command center systems. You will bridge high-level design and on-site deployment, ensuring seamless wireless infrastructure integration.

You will own the technical solution, produce as-built docs, and collaborate with sales, PMs, engineering, and product teams while delivering customer training.

Qualifications

• : Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of Engineering, IT, Public Safety, and/or Military experience or 8+ years of related experience.
• : Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; sponsorship not available.
• : Ability to obtain background clearance as required by government customers.

Responsibilities

• Implement body cameras, in-car video systems, digital evidence management systems, and real time command center software.
• Responsible for being the technical solution owner of a project.
• Provide system as-built documentation.
• Identify interface requirements and solicit system implementation team for design
• Conduct customer facing technical requirements discovery sessions for system configuration
• Builds relationships with sales, project managers, internal engineering, product, and key technical subject matter expert teams within the organization
• Ability to provide customer product training (both in-person and virtual)
• Survey, design, install and maintain the infrastructure supporting wireless communications systems at Client site
