Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sr Engineer - Systems Design & Implementation to lead the deployment of public safety software including body cameras and real-time command center systems. You will bridge high-level design and on-site implementation, ensuring seamless wireless and evidence management integration for critical clients.

Responsibilities include being the technical owner, delivering documentation, conducting discovery sessions, and training customers.

Qualifications

• Public Safety software implementation experience is required.
• Ability to pass background checks and obtain security clearances as needed.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Implement body cameras, in-car video systems, and real time command center software.
• Serve as the technical solution owner of a project and deliver on-site deployment.
• Provide system as-built documentation and interface requirements.
• Conduct customer discovery sessions for system configuration.
• Collaborate with sales, project managers, and engineering teams.
• Deliver customer product training in person or virtually.
• Survey, design, install, and maintain wireless infrastructure at client sites.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Public Safety, and/or Military

8+ years of Engineering, IT, Public Safety, and/or Military experience
