Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Engineer for Systems Design & Implementation to lead complex public safety software deployments, including body cameras, in-car video and evidence management. You will bridge high-level design with on-site deployment, ensuring integration of wireless infrastructure and CJIS-compliant systems for government clients.

Travel is substantial (50–75%), and you will own technical solutions, provide field-ready documentation, and work with sales, PMs, and engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in engineering/IT/public safety/military, or 8+ years experience.
• Ability to obtain government background clearance as required.
• Experience implementing public safety software projects.
• Knowledge of CJIS policy requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement body cameras and in-car video systems.
• Deploy digital evidence management and real-time command center software.
• Serve as technical solution owner for projects.
• Provide system as-built documentation and support design across teams.
• Lead customer discovery sessions for system configuration.
