Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sr Engineer for Systems Design & Implementation to lead the deployment of body cameras, in-car video, and real-time command center software for public safety clients. You bridge high-level design with on-site deployment, ensuring secure wireless and evidence management integrations in critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of Engineering, IT, Public Safety, and/or Military experience OR 8+ years of Engineering, IT, Public Safety, and/or Military experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.

Responsibilities

• Implement body cameras, in-car video systems, digital evidence management systems, and real time command center software.
• Responsible for being the technical solution owner of a project.
• Provide system as-built documentation.
• Identify interface requirements and solicit system implementation team for design
• Conduct customer facing technical requirements discovery sessions for system configuration (Conference Call or In Person)
• Builds relationships with sales, project managers, internal engineering, product, and key technical subject matter expert teams within the organization
• Ability to provide customer product training (both in-person and virtual)
• Survey, design, install and maintain the infrastructure supporting wireless communications systems at Client site
