Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks a senior Systems Engineer - Project Engineer VI to act as a technical authority for multi-contract defense and aerospace programs. You will provide strategic direction across engineering disciplines, ensuring design alignment with contractual requirements and mission objectives.

You will lead IPTs and major subcontractors, manage baselines and design reviews, and interface with DoD customers and executives to drive performance and improvements across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in STEM with extensive project engineering experience.
• 15+ years of progressive project engineering leadership or 19 years in lieu of a degree.
• Active DoD clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture, integration, and verification strategies.
• Lead large defense/aerospace programs across IPTs and subcontractors.
• Oversee baseline configuration and design reviews (SRR/PDR/CDR/TRR).
• Interface with DoD customers and executive management.
• Drive process improvements and risk management initiatives.
