Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in project engineering, aerospace engineering, or related STEM field with 15 years of experience in project engineering; or Master’s degree with 13 years; or 19 years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience leading large-scale DoD/MDA programs with complex system integration and verification.
• 15+ years progressively responsible experience in project engineering or systems engineering.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities across engineering, program management, and customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as chief project engineer for large defense and aerospace programs.
• Define and guide system architecture, integration, and verification strategies.
• Oversee engineering execution across IPTs and major subcontractors.
• Lead technical baseline definition, configuration management, and system integration planning.
• Chair or support major design reviews and ensure readiness with metrics.
• Interface with DoD customers and executive management.
• Manage SOWs, deliverables, and major supplier inputs.
• Develop risk and opportunity management frameworks at the program level.
