Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Engineer VI to provide technical leadership on complex defense and aerospace programs. You will lead system integration, define architecture, and guide verification strategies across IPTs to meet mission requirements.

You will chair major design reviews, manage SOWs, mentor engineers, and contribute to proposals. Requires 15+ years in engineering leadership and DoD program experience with a STEM degree.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in project engineering, systems engineering, or program-level technical leadership.
• Proven experience managing large-scale DoD or MDA programs with complex system integration and verification activities.
• Demonstrated success as CAM and technical lead under EVMS-compliant contracts.
• Deep understanding of DoD acquisition lifecycle (DoDI 5000 series) and MIL-STD systems engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as chief project engineer or senior technical lead for large defense and aerospace programs.
• Define and guide system architecture, integration, and verification strategies.
• Oversee engineering execution across IPTs and major subcontractors, ensuring cost and schedule compliance.
• Lead engineering baselines, configuration management, and system integration planning.
• Chair design and integration reviews and ensure readiness with technical performance metrics.
• Manage SOWs, subcontractor deliverables, and major supplier inputs.
• Develop risk and opportunity management frameworks across programs.
• Mentor project engineers and technical leads.
• Support proposal development, cost estimation, and new business capture.
