Job summary

Insight Global in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support and enhance critical enterprise and manufacturing systems in a fast-paced, high-availability environment. This onsite role focuses on production/application support with light development, scripting, system integration, and troubleshooting.

You will work across Windows and Linux, develop SQL queries and data integrations, troubleshoot issues, assist deployments, and contribute to incident RCA and reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience supporting enterprise, industrial, or manufacturing systems.
• 3+ years of experience supporting production systems or applications.
• Experience with incident management and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency with SQL and data integration concepts.
• Experience in Windows and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and maintenance for Linux-based application services.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data integrations.
• Troubleshoot application, service, and data pipeline issues.
• Support deployment, configuration, and validation of application updates.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and manufacturing systems teams on integrations.
• Participate in incident RCA and long-term reliability improvements.
• Maintain application and integration documentation.
