Job summary

Leidos Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer Lead to support the NIH/NCI/BITSDIS 2 program.

The role will oversee systems engineering, enterprise integration, cloud infrastructure, platform operations, and secure, scalable biomedical research environments. You will collaborate with the Program Manager, Technical Lead, Government stakeholders, and SMEs to architect, integrate, and operate enterprise systems ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence across hybrid cloud and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Eight or more years of progressive experience in systems engineering or related field.
Experience with large Federal IT modernization or systems integration programs.
Experience with Agile development and DevSecOps practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain Federal suitability or security requirements.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust / ADPII clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and operational leadership within assigned functional area.
Collaborate with Government stakeholders to define priorities, roadmaps, and delivery schedules.
Lead systems engineering activities supporting enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and shared services across the enterprise.
Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
Oversee systems integration across applications, data platforms, and external partner systems using modern architectures.
