Job summary

McBride Consulting is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the AFLCMC/HBS/WIW AWACS program at Tinker AFB, OK. The role requires leading system-level analyses, developing technical documentation, and guiding IPTs through lifecycle milestones.

You will perform trade studies, threat assessments, and risk management in alignment with DoD processes, collaborating with government personnel and contractors in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 12 years of DoD experience, or 15 years of related experience with 8 in DoD.
• Experience developing system/subsystem documentation and analyses.
• Familiarity with DoD cy bersecurity policies and AF policy deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Conduct program portfolio reviews and design system-level tests.
• Prepare technical documentation and management reports for planning and corrective actions.
• Perform system validations and risk assessments.
• Support IPTs with engineering and technical guidance.
• Analyze proposals for technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
