Job summary

Odyssey is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support AFLCMC/WIW and AWACS modernization efforts at Tinker AFB, OK. This full-time hybrid role focuses on systems engineering across lifecycle management, from requirements to testing and deployment.

The position requires US citizenship and a Secret clearance, with extensive DoD experience and strong technical documentation skills. You will collaborate with IPTs, conduct trade studies, and ensure compliance with program specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, five of which must be in the DoD OR
• 15 years of directly related experience, eight of which must be in the DoD
• Citizenship: US citizen; Clearance: Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Conduct program portfolio reviews to evaluate plans, enhance processes, and design tests to ensure performance aligns with specs.
• Review alternative plans, programs, designs, and test results to verify subsystem and system performance.
• Prepare technical documentation and management reports for planning, implementation, and corrective actions.
• Perform system validations and risk management aligned with AF SEAM processes.
• Provide engineering support across acquisition, development, integration, deployment, and fielding.
• Support formal trade studies considering performance, cost, reliability, and schedule.
• Analyze proposals to quantify technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
