Job summary
DCS is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the AWACS division under AFLCMC/HBS/WIW, focusing on modernization and integration of airborne C2 systems. This full-time hybrid role is based at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma and involves collaboration with multiple defense partners, IPTs, and stakeholders to ensure mission readiness.

Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field plus significant DoD experience.
- Secret Clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct program portfolio reviews to evaluate and improve systems engineering processes and testing.
- Review plans, designs, and test results to verify system performance against specs.
- Prepare technical documentation and management reports for planning and actions.
- Perform system validations and risk assessments for program initiatives.
- Provide engineering support across acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, and deployment.
- Support AF SEAM processes and conduct formal trade studies considering cost, risk, and schedule.
- Offer technical recommendations through reviews, studies, and documentation to IPTs.
- Analyze proposals for technical feasibility, compatibility, and cost-effectiveness of systems.
