Job summary

DCS Corp seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support AFLCMC/HBS/WIW AWACS modernization at Tinker AFB, OK. You will perform system engineering, risk management, and IPT support across the lifecycle, ensuring alignment with specifications and DoD standards.

Requires 12+ years in the field or 15+ with 8 in the DoD, U.S. citizenship, and a Secret clearance. Hybrid work arrangement with 20% travel; collaboration with government and defense contractors.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years in the field, or 15+ years of directly related experience, 8 of which must be in the DoD.
• Must have a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive program portfolio reviews to evaluate and propose plans and tests.
• Review and evaluate plans, programs, designs, and test results for compliance with specs.
• Prepare documentation defining system/subsystem characteristics and management reports.
• Perform system validations and analyze major engineering results.
• Provide engineering support across acquisition, development, integration, and operations.
• Support risk management in line with AF SEAM processes.
• Conduct formal trade studies considering cost, risk, and schedule.
• Offer technical recommendations to IPTs through reviews and analyses.
• Analyze proposals to assess feasibility, compatibility, and cost-effectiveness.
