Qualifications

5+ years of backend software development for distributed systems.
Strong programming skills in Go, Rust, or C++.
Experience with Unix/Linux, networking, RESTful APIs, and security basics.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and implementation of complex software systems that comprise the Tunnel, including cross-platform components.
Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
Collaborate with security, network engineering, SRE, and product management to design scalable solutions.
Review work to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
Mentor team members and uphold engineering standards across the team.
Debug issues in complex distributed systems and improve operational health.
Drive the long-term technical roadmap and scale the architecture.
Work with Go, Rust, C++, SQL/No-SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes across services.
