Qualifications

• 15+ years in cyber security focused on threat trends and abuse analytics.
• 10+ years building and operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Deep proficiency in Go and/or TypeScript with production Kubernetes/edge deployments.
• Subject matter expertise in threat intelligence, adversarial analysis, or detection engineering.
• Ability to lead cross-team technical initiatives spanning multiple teams.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Drive architectural direction and technical strategy across Cloudflare's engineering teams.
• Identify and dismantle bottlenecks and legacy patterns to improve threat detection and abuse response.
• Design and build data pipelines to collect, enrich, and analyze threat intelligence at scale.
• Serve as a technical force multiplier across projects and teams.
• Mentor engineers and elevate code quality, system design, and security-first thinking.
• Develop agentic AI workflows to accelerate threat hunting and investigations.
