Job summary

Amazon Prime Air is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to oversee the development, hardware and software integration for our ultra-fast drone delivery operations. You will ensure safety-critical software and hardware meet Design Assurance Levels and quality standards.

You will collaborate with design engineering and other disciplines to drive continuous improvement, with strong emphasis on cross-functional communication and documentation across all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
• Technical lead, systems engineer, or technical program manager with experience in complex systems.
• Experience developing test strategies for complex hardware/software systems or systems of systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee software development, verification, configuration management, and quality assurance to ensure compliance to Design Assurance Levels and software development standards
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, presenting strategies and results to senior leadership and operational partners
