Job summary

Amazon Prime Air is seeking a Reliability Engineer to drive system reliability across drone operations. You will collaborate with design, operations, and maintenance teams to improve hardware and software reliability, using data-driven insights to guide improvements.

Ideal candidates have a background in robotics design, control systems, and analytics, with strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience in fast-paced aerospace-like environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
• Experience in robotics design, automation systems development, control systems design, or related product development.
• Experience in data analysis and leveraging analytics to make decisions.
• 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and identifying the root cause of issues.

Responsibilities

• Investigate drone system performance for anomalies, deliver solutions to operations and maintenance team escalations.
• Lead cross‑functional system investigations with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to optimize drone system performance metrics, and drive improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data‑driven insights to establish benchmark standards and reduce operational burden.
• Deliver measurable system behavior improvements based on data analysis that impacts customer experience, proactively engaging stakeholders to advocate for customers.
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, presenting strategies and results to senior leadership and operational partners.
