Job summary

Endeavor IT seeks a Systems Engineer to deliver project-based IT implementations across Microsoft 365, Azure, and security solutions. You will handle migrations, deployments, and documentation, while mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced MSP setting.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years MSP experience, strong client communication, and hands-on expertise with virtualization, backups, and security practices. On-site support may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years IT experience in an MSP or similar environment; Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP required.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with backup solutions (Veeam, Datto, or similar) and security practices (EDR, MFA).
• Experience with RMM/PSA tools (ConnectWise, Kaseya, N-able; strong client communication required).

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure Microsoft 365 and Azure environments within project scope.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity solutions as part of projects.
• Troubleshoot Windows servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP; virtualization platforms.
• Perform system upgrades and configuration changes during deployments.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge during project delivery.
• Lead or participate in client onboarding, migrations, and deployments.
• Document configuration steps and environment details for handoff and support.
• Track time against project tickets in PSA for financial reporting.
• Identify and escalate technical risks and blockers during projects.
• Provide on-site support and be available for after-hours cutover windows.
