Qualifications

• BS Computer Science or related field.
• 5–7 years of systems engineering experience in a medium/large organization.

Responsibilities

• Implements infrastructure systems and components for business and IT applications; installs, configures, updates, documents, and transfers knowledge.
• Diagnose, isolate, and remediate system problems; develop remediation plans and support compliance activities.
• Participate in application development by reviewing non-functional requirements and designing infrastructure.
• Lead small IT projects or oversee architecture design and validation as needed.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior staff.
• Promote best practices in capacity, asset/inventory, configuration, and vendor engagement.
• Develop and document automation to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Demonstrate Mercury’s core values and interact professionally with stakeholders.
• Commit to a full-time schedule.
