Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer for on-site work at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD. The role emphasizes developing and sustaining software for aviation programs, requiring an active clearance and extensive systems engineering experience.

The position is funded for the near term and may require transitioning to Top Secret clearance in the future. Expect collaboration with vendors and integrated teams across multiple reviews and ECP processes.

Qualifications

• Ten years of software and systems engineering experience.
• Experience with military aircraft avionics systems and/or software.
• Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret possible later.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements and evaluate vendor software specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration and analyze defects.
• Engage cybersecurity SMEs and participate in SE technical reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
• Assist in ECP processes, prepare SOWs/CDRLs, and support IGCEs.
• Support technical evaluations of Contractor proposals.
