Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for Atlanta, GA onsite to lead the development, integration, testing, and deployment of next‑generation Electronic Warfare and airborne sensor systems. You will guide system-level solutions, from signal processing to control algorithms, and drive verification activities across simulations and lab testing.

You will assess performance of developmental RF systems, coordinate with IPTLs, and perform root-cause analyses with engineering test equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5+ years experience in airborne RF, radar, Electronic Warfare, or advanced sensor systems.
• System requirements development, system design, integration, verification, and validation.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead system development, integration, testing, and deployment of EW and airborne RF sensor systems.
• Develop system-level solutions including signal processing and control algorithms.
• Plan and execute system verification activities: simulations, lab tests, data analysis.
• Assess performance of developmental RF systems, including subsystems and firmware.
• Drive integration, verification, and troubleshooting in lab and field environments.
• Perform system-level failure analysis and root-cause investigations using engineering test equipment.
• Analyze system data using MATLAB/Python or similar tools.
• Prepare and present technical results to stakeholders.
• Maintain system documentation and engineering artifacts.
• Provide technical coordination to IPTL leads.
• Travel up to 20% as needed.
