Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer / Product Owner in Woburn, MA for the AN/TPY‑2 program. This onsite role requires a strong background in radar data analysis, systems engineering, and agile leadership within a DoD context.

You will manage a team, oversee milestones, and coordinate with internal/external customers while contributing to performance assessments and validation efforts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience in radar data and performance analysis.
• Experience leading a technical effort.
• Experience overseeing technical cost and schedule performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize the team backlog, translating work into clear user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Lead backlog refinement, break down epics into estimable stories, define sprint objectives.
• Oversee technical, financial, and schedule execution of your team for the AN/TPY‑2 program.
• Support planning and execution activities: milestones, schedule updates, earned value tracking, prioritization.
• Contribute to system performance assessment, threat evaluation, and scenario development for validation.
• Perform requirements verification, TPM assessments, trade studies, and gap analyses.
• Provide technical direction, resolve roadblocks, collaborate with customers.
• Support proposals and monitor cost-to-complete status.
