Job summary

Tabush-Group, NYC-based MSP, seeks a Senior Systems and Network Engineer to lead complex troubleshooting across networks, servers, and cloud environments. Hybrid role based in NYC with long-term growth potential.

8+ years MSP or enterprise IT required, strong Microsoft 365 and virtualization experience, and solid scripting skills. You're expected to manage Firewalls, VPNs, backups, DR, and security, while mentoring junior engineers and producing clear SOPs and diagrams.

Qualifications

• : Must have 8+ years in MSP or enterprise IT
• : Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Teams)
• : Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure
• : Advanced networking knowledge: firewalls, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, SD-WAN, wireless
• : Backup and disaster recovery experience (Datto, Veeam, or similar)
• : Virtualization experience (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V); clustering/high availability
• : MSP stack expertise: RMM, PSA, EDR, MDR (Autotask, Datto RMM, ConnectWise, N-central, Auvik, SentinelOne, Huntress)
• : PowerShell or other scripting for automation
• : Understanding of security best practices
• : Linux experience is a plus
• : Independent worker, capable of leading complex issues to resolution

Responsibilities

• Administer and improve backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions

• Manage core Windows Server services: Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services
• Secure user access with MFA, Conditional Access, SSO, and RBAC
• Manage and improve MSP tool stack: RMM, PSA, EDR, MDR (Autotask, Datto RMM, ConnectWise, N-central, Auvik, SentinelOne, Huntress)
• Build automation and scripts (PowerShell or similar) to reduce manual work
• Respond to critical alerts, outages, and escalations
• Take ownership of complex issues and drive to resolution
• Serve as top escalation point and mentor junior engineers

We're looking for a Senior Systems and Network Engineer with strong MSP experience to lead complex troubleshooting, manage advanced infrastructures, and drive improvements across networks, servers, and cloud environments. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our New York City office and a long-term opportunity where your expertise will make a big impact.

What You'll Do

• Lead advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis on complex infrastructure issues


• Configure and manage firewalls, switches, VPNs, and wireless (SonicWall, Meraki, HP, or similar)


• Manage network security, including segmentation, IDS/IPS, and content filtering


• Administer and improve backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions

Requirements
