Job summary

Indiana University of Pennsylvania seeks a senior IT professional to lead database, network, and systems administration, driving major projects through design and deployment.

Reporting to an IT Services Coordinator, the role provides leadership, research, documentation, and consulting services to committees and teams within IT Services.

This is a temporary grant-funded position ending June 30, 2029, with potential extension contingent on funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• At least seven years of IT experience with increasing responsibilities.
• At least five years in one of: application development, database administration, systems administration, or network administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer databases, networks, and systems at senior level and manage daily production issues.
• Provide leadership, research, documentation, and consulting support for committees and teams.
• Implement projects as assigned and collaborate to deploy new technologies.
• Evaluate and improve institutional practices and processes to enhance operations.
• Participate in evaluation, selection, design, and implementation of new systems and networks.
