Job summary

Oregon Coast Bank is seeking a System Administrator to support and maintain the bank's technology infrastructure. The role bridges help desk support and advanced systems engineering, requiring strong communication and documentation skills and a focus on service excellence.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, M365 services, and cybersecurity practices, with a willingness to collaborate across IT teams on projects and incidents.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience administering enterprise IT systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Experience troubleshooting business-critical technology systems.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services, and related infrastructure.
• Maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, Intune, and Entra ID.
• Administer virtual server environments and associated infrastructure.
• Assist with storage, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability and proactively resolve issues.
• Perform server maintenance, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Maintain accurate system configurations and technical documentation.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for escalated service desk issues.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related problems.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including account provisioning and equipment deployment.
• Mentor help desk personnel and provide technical guidance when appropriate.
• Support cybersecurity monitoring, vulnerability management, and remediation efforts.
• Assist with endpoint security administration and security tool management.
• Participate in incident response activities and security investigations.
