Job summary

The Oregon Department of Energy seeks a Systems Administrator to design and maintain secure server and domain infrastructure in a hybrid work setup. The position supports the agency's IT goals and requires onsite presence in Salem, Oregon several times per year.

Candidates should have experience with Windows Server, PowerShell automation, SCCM/PDQ, Windows 10/11, and M365 administration, along with IT project management and data management skills. This full-time role is represented by SEIU.

Qualifications

• Six years of information systems experience in IT project management, requirements gathering, and data management.
• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two-year accredited vocational training program; AND four years of information systems experience in IT project management, requirements gathering, and data management.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field AND two years of information systems experience in IT project management, requirements gathering, and data management.
• Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field may substitute for all of the above.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement systems and solutions to facilitate the business of the department.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in support of other IT functions and provide server systems and domain design, configuration, administration, ongoing maintenance, and security.
