Job summary

You will be the point of contact for end-user support, administer Windows Server, Datto backups, SAN storage, and Active Directory, and drive automation, patching, disaster recovery, and documentation efforts to improve stability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of systems administration experience.
• Must have Microsoft 365 and Windows Server.
• Active Directory and identity management expertise.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Cisco).

Our client is a middle-market regional financial institution with a long history of growth and stability. The System Administrator will be charged with maintaining secure, reliable and high-performing systems that support daily operations with a focus on service/help desk operations.

Responsibilities

• Point person for all end-user support
• Administer Windows Server, Datto Backups, and SAN storage
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
• Support Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Oversee patching, backups, and disaster recovery processes
• Manage user provisioning and access controls
• Maintain documentation, diagrams, and system runbooks
• Proactively monitor system performance and improve stability
• Execute system upgrades and infrastructure changes
• Contribute to automation, optimization, and standardization efforts
• Recommend improvements to increase efficiency and scalability
