Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Systems Administrator to support an intelligence customer in Norfolk, Virginia. This role requires TS/SCI clearance and a DoD 8570 Level II equivalent, with ongoing responsibilities to manage Windows and Linux systems, storage, and related IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities include Tier 1–3 support, on-site and remote coordination, and ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant IT operations in a high-security environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience
• Security+ certification or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent within 90 days of hire
• TS/SCI Clearance required and eligibility to obtain CI Poly
• Must be able to obtain System Administrator Accounts within 90 days of hire
• RHEL, Windows, and/or Storage administration experience

Responsibilities

• Systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks.
• Provide Tier 1–3 support for Windows workstations, Windows/Linux servers, and storage devices.
• Coordinate on-site and remote user support, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain security by applying patches and configuring systems per STIG guidelines.
