Job summary

D2 Consulting is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared Systems Administrator to support NGA College end-users in Springfield, VA. You will manage desktops/servers, coordinate with on-site and remote users, and lead complex IT tasks to ensure secure, reliable operations.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, software/hardware upgrades, system monitoring, and user training. Candidates should have a BA/BS, 8+ years of experience, and relevant certifications such as Security+ or CASP and ITIL Foundations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as NGA College liaison for events involving IT equipment and requiring IT support
• Coordinate meetings with customers and senior leadership to address questions and plan requirements
• Develop technical solutions for management of software, hardware, configurations, and architecture
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for hardware and software issues
• Perform advanced software installations and OS upgrades
• Monitor and tune systems for optimum performance
• Train end-users on proper hardware and software use
• Lead or coach less experienced staff as needed
• Possibly serve as team or task leader (not a people manager)
