Job summary

New Charter Technologies is seeking a System Administrator in White Plains, NY to deliver on-site and remote IT support for clients in Westchester County and NYC. You will manage Windows Server environments, Office 365 configurations, and network connectivity, while using ConnectWise for ticketing and monitoring.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of Windows Server experience, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and is comfortable mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of networking and system administration.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote and on-site technical support to clients with professionalism and urgency.
• Proactively monitor and maintain client systems to prevent downtime and improve performance.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments and Windows 10 workstations.
• Administer Office 365 environments including user management and email configurations.
• Configure and support network protocols such as TCP/IP and ensure secure connectivity.
• Utilize RMM tools (e.g., ConnectWise) for system monitoring and management.
• Assist in cloud infrastructure support including Azure and AWS environments.
• Document technical procedures and client interactions in ticketing systems.
• Demonstrate leadership by mentoring junior staff and delegating tasks effectively.
