Job summary

New Charter Technologies seeks a skilled System Administrator for on-site support at our Minnetonka-based MSP operation. You will deliver remote and on-site client IT assistance, monitor systems, and implement tailored Windows Server, Office 365, and networking solutions.

You’ll work with ConnectWise and other RMM tools, help manage Azure/AWS cloud tasks, and document procedures. Relocation or commuting to White Plains, NY considerations apply as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of networking and system administration.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable commute to White Plains, NY or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote and on-site technical support to clients with professionalism and urgency.
• Proactively monitor and maintain client systems to prevent downtime and improve performance.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments and Windows 10 workstations.
• Administer Office 365 environments including user management and email configurations.
• Configure and support network protocols such as TCP/IP and ensure secure connectivity.
• Utilize RMM tools (e.g., ConnectWise) for system monitoring and management.
• Assist in cloud infrastructure support including Azure and AWS environments.
• Document technical procedures and client interactions in ticketing systems.
• Demonstrate leadership by mentoring junior staff and delegating tasks effectively.
