Job summary

RTX’s Digital Technology team seeks a Senior Systems Administrator / DT Site Lead for 100% onsite work in Jacksonville, FL. You will run Windows Server environments, Active Directory services, and cross-functional DT operations, coordinating with engineering, security, and program teams.

The role requires a security clearance, extensive IT infrastructure experience, and proven leadership to manage site-level DT services and deliver reliable technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• U.S. Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, systems administration, or related technology environments.
• Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server and Windows client operating systems.
• Experience supporting Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services, network printing, and enterprise authentication technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure, operating system, hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, monitor, and support Windows-based server and workstation environments and associated infrastructure.
• Support Microsoft Windows Server, Windows client operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services, network printing, and other enterprise infrastructure technologies.
• Perform system installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor system availability, performance, capacity, and overall health and take appropriate action to maintain reliable operations.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, operating system, authentication, connectivity, and application issues and perform root cause analysis as required.
• Maintain accurate system documentation, configurations, inventories, procedures, and technical records.
