Job summary

RTX is seeking a seasoned DT/OT engineer in an onsite role in McKinney, TX, requiring DoD security clearance. You will develop and deploy secure DT/OT solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support operations automation with strong Windows/Linux administration and scripting skills.

The position emphasizes governance, cybersecurity, and factory IT integration, with responsibilities spanning server management, authentication, and 24x7 operational support.

Qualifications

• University degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Experience in two or more: network design, Windows admin, packaging/scripting, data analysis, or factory IT equipment operation.
• Experience with cyber-security remediation and system hardening.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux administration; DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy DT/OT solutions satisfying governance, sustainment, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance DT/OT architectures.
• Provide design input and options to Operations automation and software engineers using DT environments.
• Install, configure, maintain, and inventory server/workstation systems.
• Configure security software and document compliance for factory integration.
• Resolve DT issues from discovery to root cause in OT integration architectures.
