RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, seeks a Senior System Administrator in Plano, TX to support classified programs with Windows and Red Hat environments. You will help define computing requirements, implement secure end-to-end IT solutions, and collaborate across teams.

Active TS clearance and US citizenship are required. The role involves 24x7 operations, onsite work, and occasional travel up to 5% to support mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years in IT or security roles.
• Active and transferrable DoD Top Secret clearance before start; US citizenship required.
• Proficiency with Windows and/or Linux.
• Experience with Active Directory, VMware vCenter, and vSphere.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT systems administration in Windows and Redhat Linux environments.
• Configure DNS, DHCP, AD, and replication.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced environment to resolve complex IT problems.
• Work with cybersecurity to maintain security requirements and document processes.
• Travel up to 5%; onsite 100%.
