Job summary

Sandisk seeks an experienced system level test engineer to drive product qualification for advanced NAND technologies. You will define test strategies, lead cross-functional teams across geographies, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality delivery aligned with customer expectations.

You will design for test, build scalable test software, and analyze data to improve yield while collaborating with manufacturing and product teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field with 6+ years of memory or system-level test experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience applying knowledge of Product Engineering and Product Development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for global cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lead and direct a team; quick problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of PCIe, System Architecture, ASIC; NAND flash fundamentals.
• Understanding of semiconductor qualification processes.
• Experience with DFT, data analysis tools, scripting (Python, C, C++).
• Hands-on system and memory testing, failure analysis with oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, etc.
• Preferred experience with DRAM, PCIe, HBM; AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the product level test solution meeting cost and quality targets.
• Design methodologies towards design-for-test and design-for-debug to enhance coverage.
• Oversee product test solution development from NPI through mass production across multiple geographies.
• Investigate qualification and yield issues during NPI; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Build and support scalable test software infrastructure to enable automation and AI assisted flows.
• Develop methodologies to deliver ATE test programs, validation and debug activities.
• Analyze Test data and feedback to product and manufacturing teams to enhance product quality and yield.
• Provide clear and regular communication of technical product status, risks, and mitigation strategies across the global org.
