Job summary

Sandisk is seeking a highly qualified System Product Engineer to join the Advanced Product Development team. You will lead system‑level product development, driving test strategies across firmware, memory, logic, and peripherals in a fast‑paced environment.

This senior role requires 10+ years in memory or system‑level product testing, strong C/C++, Python skills, experience with ATE like Advantest/Teradyne, and a track record of delivering high‑quality, cost‑efficient test solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in memory, storage, or system‑level product, test, or validation engineering.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor IC design, simulation, emulation, and manufacturing.
• Hands‑on system/memory testing with failure analysis tools like oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python; experience with high‑speed interfaces (DDR, PCIe, HBMs).
• Experience with ATE systems such as Advantest and Teradyne; firmware and data analytics skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead system‑level product development and integrate with firmware, memory, logic, and peripherals.
• Design and implement test strategies from NPI to production ramp.
• Translate requirements into optimized test flows meeting OEM quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet DPPM targets and recovery strategies.
• Drive failure analysis to improve test coverage and process robustness.
• Analyze test data to provide actionable insights to design and manufacturing teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and present project status to execs.
• Define test stack architecture and collaborate with TE on test programs.
