Qualifications

• Experience performing MIL-STD-882 analyses and safety planning.
• Ability to coordinate safety across multiple engineering teams.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement MIL-STD-882E compliant system safety programs.
• Perform system safety planning, hazard analyses, and design analyses.
• Coordinate with customer safety representatives across product lines.
• Brief safety considerations at technical reviews and safety approvals.
• Prepare internal and customer reports describing analyses.
• Interface with Systems, Software and Hardware engineering teams.
• Manage System Safety Working Groups between Raytheon and customer reps.
