You will perform system safety tasks across management, analysis, evaluation and verification, and work with engineering teams to eliminate hazards while protecting critical performance.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain clearance.
• Experience implementing MIL STD 882 system safety program.
• Ability to analyze engineering hardware and electrical drawings for hazard assessment.
• Coordinate safety analyses across product teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design of safety requirements and safety analyses.
• Perform MIL STD 882 system safety tasks across management, analysis, evaluation and verification.
• Review engineering drawings and schematics for hazards and safety compliance.
• Interfacing with customers, program offices, subcontractors and vendors.
• Prepare Safety Assessment Reports and Safety Program Briefs for Customer Approval.
• Brief safety at technical reviews and during safety approval.
