You will perform system safety tasks across management, analysis, evaluation and verification, and work with engineering teams to eliminate hazards while protecting critical performance.

US citizenship is required and the role may require clearance. You will collaborate with customers, program offices and vendors, prepare Safety Assessment Reports, and brief safety

Qualifications

Must be a US citizen and able to obtain clearance.
Experience implementing MIL STD 882 system safety program.
Ability to analyze engineering hardware and electrical drawings for hazard assessment.
Coordinate safety analyses across product teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Assist with design of safety requirements and safety analyses.
Perform MIL STD 882 system safety tasks across management, analysis, evaluation and verification.
Review engineering drawings and schematics for hazards and safety compliance.
Interfacing with customers, program offices, subcontractors and vendors.
Prepare Safety Assessment Reports and Safety Program Briefs for Customer Approval.
Brief safety at technical reviews and during safety approval.
