Job summary

Qualifications

• STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in System Safety and/or Software Safety Engineering.
• Experience evaluating complex systems for risk.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement MIL-STD-882E compliant safety programs and analyses.
• Perform hazard analyses to ensure system requirements and standards compliance.
• Collaborate with customer safety representatives to allocate safety tasks.
• Coordinate with Safety Review Board authorities to gain approval.
• Lead System Safety Working Groups across Raytheon/customer teams.
• Work with engineering disciplines to mitigate hazards and design controls.
