Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with DoD System Safety Programs e.g. MIL-STD-882/DO-178.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement MIL-STD-882E compliant system safety programs.
• Lead System Safety Working Groups and coordinate with Raytheon and customer reps.
• Mentor junior safety engineers and engage in design reviews to assess safety.
